This summer ISKCON Punjabi Bagh had organised a pioneer Workshop on Deity Worship from 8 th April to 4th May’2013. The course was conducted for devotees who have Radha Krishna, Gaur Nitai, Jaganath Baladeva Subhadhara Deities at home and are interested in learning about standards/ process of Deity worship. It was all headed by H.G. Ravi Locana Prabhu, a graduate from ‘Deity Worship Academy -Mayapur'.
The seminar covered some of the basic as well as advanced standards of worship of Sri Sri Gaur Nitai, Radha Krishna and Jagannath Baladeva Subhadra Ji, that can be adapted for both home and Temple worship. The 3 aspects of Learning-on-Deity-Worship namely Knowledge, Skills & Values were covered with lots of different presentations, group works, practical demonstrations, theory discussions, & many other ways, leaving no stone unturned to make it fully beneficial for all the students. In practical demonstration of the “Arcana-vidhis”, devotees brought their home Deities for getting a firsthand experience.
This Seminar took place in 12 sessions in two different shifts of morning and evening for two different groups, three days a week. Around 110 devotees, mainly from Congregation, attended the seminar who were also provided with notes for references and other details regarding Deity Worship.



The wait is over! Finally, after a considerable gap of an year, construction of the beautiful ISKCON Temple at Rohini has started on 28th Oct.'12 - all by the grace of the Lord and the desire of His pure devotees. Stroll down for the pictures of that celebrated moment. Hare Krishna!
